India is a democratic country and now the time is like a festival in India because the GENERAL ELECTION 2014 (LOKSABHA CHUNAV 2014) on the head. Every political party want to see their candidates on the chair of Member of Parliament.
According to source the terms of the current Lok sabha expires on 1 June and the new house has to be constituted by 31 May.
According to many sources or EC the Lok sabha polls will be held between mid April and early May.

According to previous plan 2014 election will be held in mid April and Early May. Election commission is in mood to hold the election in five or six phases. There are 800 million voters in this election (Data is according to highly placed source in the Election Commission)
According to PTI “The announcement of the poll schedule will be done in the last days of February or at best the first two-three days of March”
During the Lok sabha Election there are state assemblies election in some states like Andhra Pradesh, Odisha and Sikkim. They will also elect their state state assemblies along with the Lok sabha Election 2014.
Voter situation in different Lok sabha election
-671 million in 2004 election
- 714 million in 2009 election
- Around 800 million in 2014 election
In the first of 2014 year Congress was giving a signal that the Lok sabha election 2014 will be hold before the time but according to current situation, not seem like this.
The Election Commission is also working on finalising the polling station for election. At least 8 lakh polling stations are to be set up for polling across the country.
