HOW CAN I APPLY FOR A NEW VOTER ID CARD OR DUPLICATE VOTER ID CARD ?

A voter id card is a most important document for every India which has the individual'name and personal data like age,sex,father's name,address,DOB(date of birth) and a photo also.this card is isssued by BLO (booth level officer) under the instruction of SSEC(state election commissioners).

In present time it is very easy to add your name in voter list.you can apply for the voter id card online.All the firstt you need some forms for appling. Details are here..

1. Form no. 6 - for include the name in electoral list or voter list

if you are a NRI thn....

2. form no. 6A - for include the name of an NRI.

firstly download the form and complite the task after it submit the form( you can submit online or contact your BLO).

After applyng for voter id card thn it is time to check your voter id card status.

HOW CAN I CHECK MY VOTER ID CARD STATUS ?

There aretwo (2) ways to check your voter card

1. phone call

2. sms

After successfuely appling the card you will recive a unique serial number. Using this serial number you can easily check the status of the voter id card . You have to wait for 30-40 days then only tou will be able to check it.let,s check step by step your card

1. go to massage in your cell phone

2.type voter id card serial number

3. sent it on 9433633333

BY PHONE CALL

1.call from BSNL or MTNL to 1506 and follow the instruction in English or Hindi

2. you can also call to 0124-2888-888
